In the spring of 2012, the Pittsburgh Penguins became homeless. That is, until they finished moving across the street to their new home, the CONSOL Energy Center (since renamed to PPG Paints Arena). The Penguins engaged some shops to help spread the word that all of those memories of seasons past are firmly built into the foundation of their new home.
Fun Fact: We walked across the ice before 3-time and 5-time Stanley Cup Champions Sidney Crosby and Mario Lemieux ever set foot on it. The Penguins have won back-to-back championships since then. We like to think we’re the lucky charm.
