An intimate portrait of two lovable pugs surrounded by lush garden, delicious sun flares, and swirly bokeh.
This short lens test was shot over two sunny days in Pittsburgh on a BMCC with a vintage Russian (Soviet) Helios 44-2 58mm lens. From its durable build to its incredible glass this lens is a true gem from buried deep behind the Iron Curtain. I put this lens through a variety of lighting challenges, but kept finding myself drawn back outside for those gorgeous flares and creamy bokeh. This footage is straight out of camera – no filters, no color correction.
